Created as a coordinate to Valley of Nysa, this design features delicately painted dog roses in an all-over repeat. Shadows overlap and contrast against the light flower heads, hinting at the dark edge of Persephone’s story. Nysa is part of the Earth story of our Autumn/Winter 2023 collection - a tribute to the earth’s bounty, these designs immerse us in the captivating details of the natural world.

The design is printed by experts at our own Liberty Printing Mill in northern Italy onto classic cotton poplin. An attractive woven fabric with a pleasant hand feel and rich yarn construction, this poplin is characterised by the comfort and breathability that makes it perfect to wear in all seasons. Use Piccadilly poplin to create classic shirts and blouses in timeless cuts, or experiment with lightweight dresses and skirts for carefree appeal.

Piccadilly poplin is a fine cotton fabric characterised by its closely-woven single 60s threads, combining durability with sleek, lightly sheened elegance. Printed by the experts at Liberty’s own Italian mill, Liberty's poplin is ideally suited to structured garment shapes. Try a gathered or fluted take on a classic shirt design, or get experimental with different dress silhouettes. Poplin is machine washable and durable enough for daily wear.

Fat Quarters

If you would like long quarter (25cm x 136cm) instead of a fat quarter please purchase a fat quarter and add a note at cart/checkout.
If you purchase more than one fat quarter from a fabric, by default we would cut more than one fat quarter in a continuous length like 1/4m lengths. As shown below.
if you would prefer to have them cut in separate fat quarter pieces of 50cm x 65cm please add a note at cart/checkout.

2 x fat quarters = 1/2m - 50cm x 136cm
3 x fat quarters = 3/4m - 75cm x 136cm
4 x fat quarters = 1m - 100cm x 136cm
