This quintessential Arts & Crafts-style print evokes the beauty of the Garden Rooms at Sissinghurst Castle Garden – the beloved home of poet and novelist Vita Sackville-West and her husband, Harold Nicolson. Hand-painted in the Liberty design studio, The Garden Room features richly textured circular trails adorned with royal lilies and pops of white rock roses, both blooming in Sissinghurst’s White Garden. Amidst the scrolling foliage, tiny heart motifs have been added, symbolising Vita’s love for her garden. This print is part of the second chapter in this collection, Gallery Garden, which explores the history of gardens and the artistry inspired by verdant spaces throughout time. From Egyptian and Roman influences to Persian miniature gardens and Japanese zen landscapes, it reflects an evolution of beauty, structure, and creative freedom cultivated through the ages.

Liberty's Tana Lawn™ cotton is a fabric built by obsession, perfected into a modern masterpiece of production through a bespoke process that has evolved over a century. Printed in their very own Liberty Printing Mill, located between Milan and Lake Como in northern Italy, Tana realises unmatchable fluidity with a silk-like touch, unique print quality and striking colour vibrancy. Machine washable and durable enough for daily wear, it can be used to create everything from simple separates to spectacular statement pieces.

If you would like long quarter (25cm x 136cm) instead of a fat quarter please purchase a fat quarter and add a note at cart/checkout.
If you purchase more than one fat quarter from a fabric, by default we would cut more than one fat quarter in a continuous length like 1/4m lengths. As shown below.
if you would prefer to have them cut in separate fat quarter pieces of 50cm x 65cm please add a note at cart/checkout.
